Engineering for
the long run.

We choose well-supported, widely used tools and apply straightforward engineering practices — so your software is reliable today and easy to maintain later.

Technology

Tools we build with.

We pick tools for maintainability and the availability of developers who know them — not for novelty. Where a project needs something different, we explain why.

Web applications

Next.js, React, TypeScript

Fast, accessible interfaces and server rendering for good performance and search visibility. TypeScript catches whole classes of errors before they reach users.

Backend & APIs

Node.js

One language across frontend and backend keeps teams efficient and code easier to maintain.

Data

PostgreSQL

A mature relational database suited to business data with relationships, transactions and reporting needs.

Mobile

React Native

One codebase for Android and iOS in most business apps, sharing knowledge with the web stack.

Integrations

REST APIs, webhooks

Standard, well-documented ways to connect payment gateways, messaging, accounting tools and devices.

Styling & UI

Tailwind CSS, component libraries

Consistent, responsive interfaces that are quick to build and straightforward to change.

Engineering practices

How we build.

Data model first

Business software is only as good as its data structure. We design the data model early and review it against real scenarios.

Permissions on the server

Access rules are enforced on the server for every request, never only hidden in the interface.

Separate environments

Development, staging and production are kept apart so changes are tested before users see them.

Version control

All code lives in a Git repository with a clear history of what changed and why.

Automated checks

Type checking, linting and tests on critical logic run before releases to catch regressions early.

Written documentation

Setup steps, configuration and key decisions are documented so your team — or another developer — can take over.

Security basics

Sensible by default.

These are the foundations we build on. Projects with specific regulatory or compliance needs are scoped for them explicitly.

Encrypted connections

Applications are served over HTTPS so data in transit is encrypted.

Secrets kept out of code

API keys and credentials are stored in environment configuration, not in the source code.

Least privilege

People and integrations get only the access they need for their role.

Safe password handling

Passwords are stored using established one-way hashing, never in readable form.

Hosting & ownership

Your accounts, your control.

We deploy to established cloud hosting chosen for each project’s needs and budget. Wherever practical, we recommend that hosting, domain and app-store accounts are registered in your name, so you stay in control.

Integrations are possible with most tools that offer an API, webhook or reliable export. We check the documentation before committing to an integration in the scope.
