One system from enquiry to project delivery.
The problem
Construction work passes through too many hands to track in spreadsheets.
An enquiry becomes a site visit, a bill of quantities, a quotation, purchase requests and finally project execution. Each step is usually handled by a different person, often in a different file.
When those records are disconnected, information is re-entered, approvals happen informally and nobody has a reliable view of where a job stands.
The solution
The ERP is being built as one connected platform where each stage starts from the information the previous stage produced. Before any code was written, the business rules were captured as frozen requirement documents across platform, CRM, inventory, procurement, sales and warehouse management.
Development follows those requirements in vertical slices, starting with the platform foundation and lead management.
What’s built
Multi-company foundation
Organisation, company and branch structure, with every business record scoped to its organisation. Tenant isolation is covered by automated tests.
Roles & permissions
System and custom roles with granular permissions, assignable per organisation, company or branch.
Secure sessions & audit trail
Refresh tokens are stored only as hashes, and an append-only audit log records changes.
Lead management data model
Lead sources, leads and an append-only lead activity history, ready for the CRM workflow.
Verified from the database foundation phase: migrations applied, seed data loaded and tenant-isolation tests passing.
Technical approach
- PostgreSQL with Prisma migrations, verified in the foundation phase
- Next.js and TypeScript selected as the application stack for the modules that follow
- Every business table carries its organisation, so data cannot leak between tenants
- Soft delete for business records; append-only history for activities and audit
- Requirements documented and frozen before implementation of each module
Current status
The platform foundation and lead data model are complete. CRM workflows are next; quotation, procurement and inventory modules follow in later phases.
Planned scope
CRM workflow
Lead pipeline, follow-ups and conversion, on top of the lead data model.
BOQ & quotations
Structured bills of quantities feeding approved quotations.
Procurement & inventory
Purchase requests, vendor quotations, orders and stock, linked to projects.
Sales & warehouse
Defined in the requirement set for later phases.
