Tenancy before features
Why the AISYNX Construction ERP built its multi-company foundation and its tests before its first business module.
Status: Foundation implemented and tested; business modules are in progress.
The AISYNX Construction ERP is designed to serve several organisations, each with its own companies and branches. Getting that separation wrong later would mean auditing every query in the system, so it was built — and tested — first.
The foundation
- Organisation → company → branch structure, with every business record carrying its organisation.
- Roles and permissions assignable per organisation, company or branch.
- Refresh tokens stored only as hashes; an append-only audit log for changes.
- Automated tests that prove one organisation cannot read another’s data.
Requirements before code
Business rules for the platform, CRM, inventory, procurement, sales and warehouse modules were written down and frozen before implementation. Each module is then built as a vertical slice against those requirements, starting with lead management.
